Grandpa Hoffecker was an electrician and worked for Huxtable and associates.
At the time of his death he was working in the basement of Kansas State University. A man that worked with him found him kneeling in front of a fuse box and his finger tips were black. He believed that Grandpa was electrocuted. According to the autopsy though, Grandpa died from a heart attack brought on by heart disease. Some people believed that there was a cover up. I guess we will never know.
Grandma and Grandpa were married 25 April, 1945 in Gallup N.M. They were on a bus from California to Kansas and during their lunch stop-over they taken Pat and Billie and fled from California to Kansas. Grandma and Grandpa were going to get them back.
Married again in 1946, Topeka, Kansas?
Grandma Surber was living in Kansas at this time?
