There is some confusion among SUBLETT researchers as to the number of children Abraham and Susanne had. According to vital records in Sedan, 4 children of Abraham and Susanne were baptzied in Sedan (Anne, Jean, Jacob, Jean). Records for Pierre Louis, Jacques, & Abraham, Jr. cannot be found in France. Perhaps those records are in Germany or the Netherlands, as the SOBLET family fled France for German. Even if there were any records in those countries, they may not still exist because of massive destruction from both World Wars. A baptismal record can be found for Robert in London, England.
NOTE: Jacob and Jacques may be the same person. As stated above, no vital record can be found for him. There is a baptismal record for Jacob. The last section of "the book" seems to suggest that Jacob and Jacques were the same person. Until any real proof is found to the contrary, my family group sheet will show both Jacob and Jacques.
NOTE: Recent information from Mercedes SNYDER shows Abraham and Susanne had two daughters named Anne. For the time being, I show only one Anne on my records.
